My name is Craige Parmenter, I’m a student at Sheffield Hallam University and I study Geography. I am hate-filled and bitterly antisocial person who wouldn’t even piss on certain people if they were on fire. I was inspired to create this blog because of another WordPress user. I am hoping to combine my love for geographic and environmental issues with some political satire and some sport, enterainment and generally rants about how much I hate people and there actions.
I wouldn’t say that I have any major political orientation, although if pressed it is likely that I’d vote for the Lib Dems. Although saying that, the only election that I’ve been able to vote in so far I voted for the Green Party in both local and European. Read into that what you will. Not a massive fan of the of the Labour Party, but that’s generally because of fun time Gordon and probably the result of the current economic downturn.
I am a supporter of this country’s armed forces and will defend them to the hilt. An RSM once told me that: ‘People who hate the military have no idea of it’s inner workings, the government not us (army) choose to go to war and we (army) must obey’. So hate the government’s decision and not the armed forces. Of course they’re not whiter than white (to quote a certain annoying individual), however they do a bloody hard job and they do it damned sight better than those pesky Yanks.
I’m quite a keen photographer, however due to my terminal lack of any sort of money I have any decent equipment really. You can find some of my photographs on Photobucket.com (see the links page for details). You can find me scattered all over the Internet, but mainly at Myspace and Facebook – you can check the contacts page in order to find the links to those sites, if your really that bored.
That’s all from me folks

Two points I have to debate here I feel. Firstly armies only ever go where the government’s tell them to, so it isn’t just the Blair government that has sent the army into a stupid conflict. Thatcher was the one who sent them to the Falklands, another ridiculous war, and she also sent them to the 1st Gulf War, yet another one… The 1st world War was brought about thanks to the Liberals and the Tories and again that is something our country should have stayed out of and saved hundreds of thousands of lives so the Tories who you seem to inexplicably support right now are just as guilty on this issue as the Blair government. And also no conflict is that of the army since they NEVER decide where to go so you can hardly say ‘Blair’s Labor got our armed forces invloved in a conflict that is not their own.’.
Secondly on that issue the government has little to no jurisdiction over the actions of the army when it gets out there, so when they start going around beating civilians, raping them, murdering them, torturing innocent people and turning them even further against our country it is not the fault of the government it is the fault of the army, so don’t go around pretending the army is whiter than white and the big evil government are the only people culpable for the army being generally hated by the public.
Lastly I’d rather have an insane Iraqi extremist in control of this country than a fucking Tory, if you had any idea how the political system has ‘evolved’ over the past 170 years you would too. If you want to know why the government is so corrupt and never listen to the people, and why we have fuck all rights, you need look no further than the fucking Tory party, have a look over the years when the voting system has been ‘reformed’ look who opposes it every time, the Tory’s, look at the legislation that could have done so much good, who opposes it and waters it down so it only benefits the elite, who is that? Oh yes the Tory’s. Who now has created a political system with no left wing to represent the working and lower middle classes? That’s right it’s those pesky Tory’s again, as there is no longer 1 Tory party, there are 2, the only difference is the name, and the fact that the official Tory party can be blamed for all their wrongs throughout the past 2 centuries, and the hope that the Labour party can get back onto the path they used to inhabit and look out for the views of the people. Right now the public cannot trust either major party, the major difference being they will NEVER be able to trust the Tory’s whereas Labour may one day prove to be trustworthy once again.
I only said if pressed I’d vote Tory. Also I was really just talking about the current wars, I can’t go back in time and not vote Tory at the turn of 1990s to stop those ones.
Is that all you have to say for yourself?! That really wasn’t my point, just evidence of how Blair’s government aren’t the only ones who do shady things regarding wars.
My main point was that the Tory’s have always been and will always be evil, elitist, untrustworthy cunts who only look after their own interests, that will NEVER change, if you want a government you can trust you need to vote for someone trust worthy, and ok no party springs immediately to mind but that does not mean you should vote for the Tory’s who you have nothing in common with and stand about as far away from your views and what you need from a government. At the end of the day you need to read the manifestos of other parties and not think ‘well only Labour or the Tory’s will win so I should vote for one of them, and since Labour are fuckwits I’ll go Tory’ it’s that mentality that has caused this country to become fucked and controlled by those 2 parties who now most probably work together in order to satisfy their own greed.
Well if you’ll look at the newly worked page then you become less angry, which would be a turn up for books with you. =p
I don’t really care, has to be said. Everyone is going to say that the party or the team or the player that they don’t support are a complete bunch of bastards, not saying that they are necessarily wrong in their claim but it can come across as somewhat bias lol Just trying to stop people voting with the BNP or UKIP or something really stupid like that.
No they are all a bunch of bastards, I don’t support one party, but the Tory’s are the worst of the worst, except for the BNP perhaps but there’s not much in it.
You need to stop lumping UKIP in with the BNP, they stand for completely different things, UKIP I can get on board with, the BNP are racist retards who probably would exile everyone from England who can’t trace their roots back to Bodicia.
You need to start caring about politics, because if you don’t things are only going to get worse for our country. This is what pisses me off about this country, everyone bitches and moans about who shit MPs are and how the banks have screwed us, but when it comes down to it no-one does a thing to stop it, they just sit back and take it and then moan, and then when someone tells them they should do something and even how they can do it you get the tepid response of ‘I don’t really care’ if you don’t care then you have no right to moan and have to accept all the shitness of this country in silence.
A silent blog eh? Not sure if that would do too well, it would just be a blank page after all.
Hey, I did vote last time around – alright it was for the Lib Dems so not going to make too much of a difference, but at least I did. Not saying they’re the same deal, but they’re both pretty out there. Although have to agree, the BNP are just not the right way to go at all – hopefully many more people feel that way too.
Oh yeh, mind the language – don’t really want to have to change the cautionary settings for my site
And yes your statement is slightly better, though I am unimpressed with term ‘certain annoying individual’! Being right does not mean being annoying! And yes the Brits certainly are no where near as bad as the Yanks for what antics they get up to abroad.
You got mentioned, should feel proud =p Finally agreeing with me on something then
Nearly got 100 views in a day now
Ok I’ll watch the language. Politics does tend to fire me up for some reason.
A silent blog… now there’s an idea…
Yes I voted Lib Dem when I voted but they aren’t above corruption and the likes either. I think we all know what the BNP are about, but not everyone realizes that UKIP are not the same animal, they seem to get tarnished with the same brush, I’m not saying they’re the most ethical or have the moral highground, but they certainly aren’t as bad as the BNP. I wouldn’t worry about them, the BNP are never going to get in power, the Nazi’s set a precedent making people more cautious about right wing parties, and everyone has a very poor view of the BNP so they aren’t likely to get elected without some major policy changes. That’s not to say someone else controversial won’t get into power and doing some suspect things, but that may be a good thing, you need to hit rock bottom before things will get better, and a revolution may well be needed in some form in order to try to start again somewhat and destroy the shackles of oppression and the old corrupt parties.
Prehaps you should start writing too, put that writing skill from History to good use. The only good you got out of that =p
Yeh, but saying that; no one is entirely above corruption – absolute power corrupts absolutely and all that. We’re discussing the BNP on this page when I wrote a post about them, wrong place to do this lol. Your looking for a revolution? Dangerous talk me thinks. You sound like such an old hippy with that last line: the shackles of oppression man =p
I’m not looking for that no, revolutions tend to never benefit the majority of people, Russia has taught me that. They either go too far like Russia, or not far enough like France. But having said that something drastic needs to be done in this country. There are only 2 major political parties and both represent themselves primarily and to a slightly lesser extent the upper, wealthy class a minority of the country, there is no party that represents the majority of people or even on that represents a different minority. And yet these 2 parties are allowed to continue to dominate the country as the public either does not see the facts in front of them, chooses to ignore them, or, and most likely is too lazy to do anything about it. It is probably as much the fault of the people as it is those who have the power, that this country has slid into a pathetic apathetic state of impotence.
Well that’s a shame, I was cooking something up lol Kidding. The French Revolution when they killed the arisocrates and the monarchy? That wasn’t far enough, or am I missing something there?
I’m going to guess that the public is just too damn lazy to change anything.
On another note, yes I should write like this more, I have no idea how to set one of these accounts up though, or navigate to other pages…
There are links at the top of every page of my posts. Well you’ve got a Username and password I assume coz your commenting on these. You need to find: register new blog or something like that.
Yes they killed wealthy people but they didn’t really change the political system very much, look just 20 or 30 years down the line (I may be wrong about the dates French history is not my suit) but Napoleon drops in and is for all intents and purposes became a monarch. There’s nothing wrong with people becoming rich, those who have built up industries and businesses for themselves and families deserve to be rich, but those who are just rich because their families became so centuries ago when they bought a lot of land and do anything in order to stay rich, even if that means harming hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people just for their own greed and power lust, these are the people that need to be gotten rid of and these are the people who dictate policies, power and money in our society.
